The 2017 Leeds Hidden Talents Employment Fair is now just one week away. The event, which is for autistic jobseekers in Leeds and employers hoping to learn about the benefits of hiring autistic people, has a number of stalls, two workshops and talks. Here’s what is happening so far:
- Two workshops – one on building the perfect CV and the other on reasonable adjustments
- Employers’ stalls – John Lewis, Yorkshire Water, KPMG, Carillion and Emovis are all confirmed to be there
- Employment support and steps to employment stalls, including Access to Work, the Prince’s Trust, Voluntary Action Leeds and the National Careers Service
- For employers, talks on Access to Work and autism awareness
More to come
We still have a few more stalls to confirm for the fair, which will be announced over the next few days. We also have a final schedule to release, which details who will be speaking and what will be happening at each time.
The event will take place on Monday 10th July, opening at Noon for employers and 2pm for jobseekers. It takes place at the St George’s Centre and is free to enter. For more info on the venue and directions, please visit the Venue page of our website.
